Personal Philosophy
I believe our past can play a role in shaping us, but it's the present moment that holds the key to our growth and well-being. I am dedicated to helping people navigate their current challenges, fostering resilience, and empowering them to live fulfilling lives. Beyond my professional life, I find balance in physical fitness, particularly weightlifting, which for me represents consistency, discipline, and strength - values I strive to share with my clients.
Professional Experience with Diverse Groups
I have thoroughly engaged with educational environments, conducted significant psychological research, and worked closely with vulnerable groups. My experience includes supporting children and adults with mental health problems, chronic pain, and other complex challenges. These diverse interactions have provided valuable insights and refined my approach to addressing various psychological challenges.
Working closely with UK military and ex-military personnel, as well as their families, has provided me with profound hands-on insights into intense transitions and significant life changes. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complexities of identity formation during these transformative periods. This specialised knowledge has enriched my practice, enabling me to create targeted interventions that effectively address their challenges and promote their well-being.
